Our SASH WINDOW Renovation Process

This may vary depending on the damage to your sash Window, below is a general guide

• Ensure all work areas are kept clean and tidy by covering with dust sheets
• The timber sashes are removed from the frame
• Window glass is removed and any old putty can be scraped away
• New wax sash cord installed if applicable
• The joints are cleaned and any rotten wood is routed out
• Servicing or replacement of pulley wheels
• Weight change to lead to balance windows

• Epoxy resin is used to fill any gaps and then new timber is spliced in
• The sash window is sanded and often primed, ready for painting
• Gloss paint finish to exterior, Satin paint finish to interior
• The Window lass is put back into place.
• Timber staff & parting beads, with draught proof system
• Fitting of new window furniture & security locks
